Overview
Our client has observed the market need to provide the individuals as well as small businesses with a network referral platform in order to allow their customers, friends and families to share and refer their products with much ease and thereby, get paid for it.
They asked for a highly engaging Progressive Web App that would allow the B2B companies and reseller to perfectly showcase their unique products with striking graphics and easy navigation.
They wanted quick loading web pages and a good application structure to improve indexability and SEO rankings.
Challenges
The purpose of the app being accumulating small business organizations and individuals on a single platform, it required to be highly inclusive and highlight the wide variety and ranges of the products showcased by various business houses/persons.
It was important for the app to be receptive and have a decent navigation service. Added to this, the app should have the ability to run on various devices to offer a seamless user experience.
The app was also expected to provide the basic search functionality for the users so that they could easily locate what they were looking for.
Since different business houses would manufacture similar products therefore, there should be an opportunity for consumers to compare the products from different organizations as well as their price before making an investment.
From a business perspective, a strong app often requires an admin panel to allow the superuser(s) to handle all the e-commerce portal content, websites, blogs, and products.
Implementation of Plan
We initiated the ‘Project Understanding’ process, in which we discussed and wrote down all the customer’s requirements. After getting the detailed requirements identified by the client, the design team started with the UI mock-up development for the home page, product listing page, product details pages, etc. After the completion of the wire-frames and visualizations, it was shared with the client for their feedback. Further, we evaluated the specifications and defined the resources, technology, and processes that we will need for the execution of the project.
