Our client is a UK based company which offers the best deals and discounts on a wide range of products and services through its web application.

The extensive array of product categories and subcategories include Car finance, Broadband, Vehicle insurance, Mobile, Prepaid cards, Bank accounts, Travel, and many more.

They are committed to offering a hassle-free and personalized experience to users in finding the best deals on products.

They wanted a web application which will display deals on products based on categories, subcategories with complete sorting functionality for the users. They wanted to collect leads using forms and manage the entire contents of the web application.

The Challenges We Faced Along the Way

The purpose of the web application was to present deals on a vast range of products and services, and at the same time, it had to be well laid out with trouble-free navigation to ease users in making choices.

The application had to fetch information on deals from a central server system and store them in the web application database and then categorize them appropriately.

A form was to be created to collect a set of information from the users and help them check their eligibility to get certain deals. This information is then to be passed on to the web application admin as lead details.

An advanced sorting functionality was to be developed upon specific parameters to make it easier to find deals. Search functionality was to be facilitated to let users find information within the web application.

A secured admin back-end interface was to be built to manage and control all the contents of the application, deals, categories, subcategories, etc.

Our Primary Approach for This Project

Our approach to this project was pretty straightforward. Here’s a detailed look at how we decided to resolve the issues faced by the client:

Comprehensive Web Application Design
Our plan was to build a structured and user-friendly web layout with a focus on ease of navigation. We decided to clearly define product categories and subcategories to help customers find the best deals.

Lead Generation and User Interaction
We wanted to increase the number of leads by improving user experience. This included adding buttons like “Check Eligibility” where users could check if they were eligible for a deal and implementing an email form for newsletter subscriptions.

Secure Admin Interface
In order to ensure that the client’s team could control all aspects of the application, we planned to build a secure backend. This would allow the admins to add, edit, or delete deals, manage categories and subcategories, track leads, and even handle ad placements.

Advanced Sorting Functionality
Our client wanted to really amp up on the user interface. So, we decided to add a dynamic sorting functionality that would help users find the best deals more efficiently. By adding categories like “Featured Deals” and “Most Popular,” users could easily filter deals.

Our Primary Solution for This Project

We offered the client a complete development and design solution comprising of Android Mobile Application Design and Development, iOS Mobile Application Design and Development, and Server Side Application Development. Using our JavaScript expertise in addition to HTML5 and CSS3, we built a well-ordered web application layout and structure which offered easy navigation, systematic categorization of products via menus, sub-menus, and category wise search options.

For better indexing, a detailed sitemap was created covering all the categories and sub-categories of the application. All the subcategories linked to the corresponding product/service pages. For some specific products and services, a ‘Check Eligibility’ Call to Action was created. It displayed a form where the users entered some basic details allowing them to find out if they are eligible for certain deals. In the back-end, these lead details get shared with the application admin via email.

For certain categories, ‘Get Quote Now’ call to action buttons were implemented to acquire leads. Also, an email form was implemented on all the pages to let users subscribe to newsletters related to latest and best deals. A dynamic sorting functionality was designed based upon ‘Featured Deals’ and ‘Most Popular’ categories. Also, a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol was effectuated on the application to secure the information of the app users.
