The Indian Government has declared an emergency lock-down across the country to fight the pandemic. People are advised to stay at home and work from home if possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But business must go on. In this tough time, \u2018Work From Home\u2019 seems to be the only viable option to keep the ball rolling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brainium always treats employees as assets &amp; when it comes to their safety &amp; security, we never compromise. So, we took the step to provide all our employees the facility to work from home, before the government\u2019s decision of total lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along with every tough decision, there come some challenges, but we tackled them like a pro. Be it with our clients or within our teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, our first &amp; foremost concern was to keep the communication process smooth &amp; steady. We made it sure that in any situation during the work hours, the communication must not break &amp; thanks to the way we use technology, it was not that tough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All our teams are constantly in touch with the clients &amp; also with all team members through WhatsApp, Skype, E-mail, Hangouts, and Google Duo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of our clients asked us whether we are still in the office, as everything is going around as good as a \u2018Business As Usual.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Technical_Support\"><\/span>2. Technical Support<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second challenge was to provide the needed technical infrastructure to Brainites at their homes. Many of our employees did not have the ideal set of systems to do their work comfortably from home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, we didn\u2019t take a moment for second thought &amp; decided to provide all the essential technical support they need to work from home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We arranged for laptops\/desktops and devices for testing the apps for all the Brainites who needed it to take home. Our systems management &amp; administrative department took great care of every requirement without a miss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Maintaining_Work_Discipline\"><\/span>3. Maintaining Work Discipline<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let it be an office setting or a work from home situation maintaining a work discipline is very important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As no one is under direct supervision, distractions may happen. Our project managers and team leaders ensured everyone is engaged, and they are informed about what they need to do and keep communicating. We have task and productivity trackers in place for essential monitoring and keeping an eye on the work engagement and efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our managers &amp; team leads are in constant touch with their team members &amp; are pitching in whenever there is a need. This collaborative work discipline is making it easy to move ahead with project progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are glad that we always had a robust Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to subdue any such events and contingencies.
